Reply:Try Sears. They have good prices, warranty and a good selection.
Reply:Keep in mind that you get what you pay for --- if you buy %26quot;cheap%26quot; tools, they will likely deliver low caliber results.

Having said that, you can get low-priced tools at Wal-Mart %26amp; Target, but the selection %26amp; inventory are not great. If you live in an area that has Harbor Freight or Northern Tool %26amp; Equipment stores, those have reasonable priced tools %26amp; selection. Overall, though, I%26#039;d say your best option would be stick with a Lowe%26#039;s or Home Depot. They have quality tools, selection %26amp; people who can answer questions.

And for small hand-tools, I%26#039;d personally recommend Sears for their Craftsman tools. They%26#039;re excellent.

Good luck to u %26amp; ur BF!
Reply:Wow, they are asking him for a serious commitment.

You probably don%26#039;t want to hear this: but get something of good enough quality to last. I%26#039;ve seen some cheapos that break almost immediately--he will need something he can rely on. It doesn%26#039;t have to be top of the line, but should be sturdy. (You might check out one of those big construction places, like Home Depot.)
